These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use ofLiveCode Pro, including our website located athttps://livecodeshare-pro.vercel.app(the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

1. Description of Service

LiveCode Pro is a real-time collaborative Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that allows developers to code together, share screens, text, voice, and video in an end-to-end encrypted environment.

2. User Registration & Third-Party Authentication

You may access certain features of the Service without registering an account. However, to utilize collaborative features or back up workspace data, you may be required to choose a display name or sign in using a third-party login provider, such as Google OAuth.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete display name information.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your session.
• If you connect your Google Account to use the Google Drive backup integration, you grant us permission to request thehttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.filescope solely to read and write files created or opened by the LiveCode Pro application on your behalf.

3. Shared Security Responsibility

LiveCode Pro employs strict cryptographic protocols. All collaborative code and chat messages are encrypted client-side using browser-based WebCrypto AES-GCM 256.

• Password Protection:Access to collaborative rooms is protected by a password defined by the workspace host. You are solely responsible for selecting a strong, unique password and sharing it only with trusted peers.
• No Recovery:Because we operate under a zero-knowledge architecture, we do not store, view, or manage your room passwords. We cannot recover lost passwords or decrypt room data for you. If you lose your password, the data in that workspace is permanently unrecoverable.

4. Acceptable Use Guidelines

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
• Post, upload, or transmit any code, file, or content that contains viruses, malware, trojan horses, or other harmful software components.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or disable the servers, networks, or infrastructure facilitating the collaborative IDE.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

LiveCode Pro does not claim ownership over any code, files, or text you input, compile, save, or collaborate on using the Service. You retain full intellectual property rights to your own work.

All content and assets comprising the Service itself (including but not limited to styling, branding, UI designs, code engine layout, and logos) are the property of LiveCode Pro or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST. ANY CONTENT DOWNLOADED OR WORK SAVED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OR CONTIBUTORS OF LIVECODE PRO BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

8. Termination

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
